Indien mense geliefdes aan die dood afstaan vra hulle soms hoekom God dit toegelaat het. Is God nie wreed om dit te doen nie? Hy kon dit mos verhoed het.
En as so ’n persoon verder glo dat God deur jare se dood en swaarkry geskep het deur evolusie, wat sê ’n mens vir so iemand? Het hy nie selfs ’n punt beet nie? Is God nie werklik wreed nie?
Die antwoord is “nee”: God het nie deur evolusie en miljoene jare geskep nie. Hy het in 6 dae, goed geskep. Dit was die mens (Adam en Eva) wat sonde in die wêreld ingebring het. (Soos my oom altyd sê: “Ons leef in plan B.”) God het nie bedoel dat die aarde so moet wees soos vandag nie.
